there are so many ways of having fun on the snow!;
follow the guided path and enjoy a meditative walk near the hotel;
if you are interested in Alpine skiing (downhill skiing), the nearest ski resorts are Pila, La Thuile and Courmayeur; for Nordic skiing, you can reach the plateau above the hotel or the nearby Rhêmes valley, Valsavarenche and Cogne valley, where you will find professional ski runs passing through the woods;
Thermal wellbeing: our guests are entitled to special rates at the following spas:
– QC Terme in Pré-Saint-Didier
– Saint-Vincent Thermal Spa;
they both are 45 minutes drive from the hotel;
We have installed solar thermal collectors that allow us to be self-sufficient in heating water, thus reducing the consumption of fossil fuels. We also have a wood boiler for the heating of the whole hotel. We have recently installed new doors and windows to improve the insulation of the building and save energy.
We believe that protecting the environment is protecting our home.
in a plateau near our hotel remains from the Mesolithic period and from Roman times have been found. Archaeological finds show that the first inhabitants of the region chose to settle down in Vetan; visit the Megalithic Area in Aosta (link) to learn more about the ancient peoples who lived in our Valley;
along the road leading to Notre Maison you can admire Saint-Pierre Castle, Sarre Royal Castle and Sarriod de la Tour Castle: these are just a few of the many castles you can visit to find out more about the history and culture of Aosta Valley (link love vda);
